Melanie concerts, and they have all been small. I have to admit that although I am not really a fan of her music, the concerts were always very nice and informal. She sometimes let her grandchildren come up and sing with her, and always her kids. They are all great musicians, especially her son, Beau Jared. He plays the guitar like no one I've ever seen before. Her 2 daughters, Jeordie and Laila, have a singing group called Safka, and they sing with her sometimes.

Hey! Guess what! I was searching around for a recent pic of Melanie and I found the site for one of the concerts I attended at her little restaurant. I am in one of the photos. Click on the photo that says "If you recognize yourself here, please let me know" and that is me back in the corner with the orange blouse and black jacket. Also click on the first photo and check out the house - it was beautiful. It has changed hands a few times so it doesn't look like that anymore.
