I just discovered curling for the first time while watching the Olympics last weekend. Some people seem to think it's a silly sport, but I found it fascinating. It turns out curling is the Canadian national sport, and all this time I thought it was ice hockey.

Curling seems to be a sport that depends on strategy and agility, while sheer physical power doesn't appear to factor into the game. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but it makes me wonder why there would need to be a men's curling team and a women's team. Isn't this a sport where women could compete with men and not be at a physical disadvantage?
