This book came up in a discussion I was having in a Bible study group the other day. The 2 people there who had read it thought it was fantastic. Apparently, some of the main characters were real historical figures involved in the founding of the denomination my own great-grandparents helped to start [which is the same one as the church I grew up in and am now attending again) -- the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) under Stone and Campbell].

So I'll probably want to read this one myself.
