I love bluegrass PICKING, but I can't handle very much southern gospel, whether it's Baptist men's quartets or bluegrass. I just can't deal with the high-pitched nasal voices and crispy-fried, "I'll-fly-away" theology.

I own lots of CD's featuring Allison Krauss, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Mark O'Connor, et al, as well as new kids like Chris Thile. But my favorite is bluegrass blended with jazz and world music, á-la Béla Fleck and the Flecktones! Not Christian, I know, but it's instrumental music, so I can interpret it how I like. ;)
