Since my interest in nofiction changes so much, AND that I am too cheep to BUY a book, I just rent them from the library. If I can't finish them on time I just return them and soon forget about the subject entirely!
I heard someone say that if an author can't say what he has to say in 200 pages then the book is not worth reading. I find 5this to be true for myself. 200 pages for nonfiction, 350 for fiction. Now I DID read all of Le Miserables' 1000+ pages!
