Awhile back I hurt my back at work and had to stay home for a few days on muscle relaxants. What a perfect time to veg in front of the tube! I rented the whole first season of Deadwood and watched it in two sittings, or should I say two layings. Wait, THAT didn't sound right either! Anyway, I loved thew series, but since I am too cheap to subscribe to HBO I'm still waiting for the second season to come out on DVD.

At first I was put off by all the "f'n corksrkr" language, but after a while I became numb to it. Just like in real life! How about that?

My favorite character was Wild Bill, even though I knew he was going to die.

LOVED the VIOLENCE!!! Talk about innocent pleasures! More like vicarious pleasures...the characters did what I sometimes longed to do to people that p__ me off.
