I thought Crash was a very thought-provoking film, but I've got to say that my fave was still "Walk the Line". I love true stories and especially when love is the central message.
The thing that drew me to see it was when I saw a poster of Joaquin Phoenix and Reese (as Johnny and June) with their back to the camera and looking sideways at each other. It was like someone waved a magic wand over me. I just got chills from head to toe and I said, "Val, we have GOT to see this." I truly believe that they had an annointing and, for me at least, it went beyond just human acting abilities. I got so wrapped up in the story that you couldn't have pryed me out of that movie seat with a crow-bar. I was mesmerized and I still flip when I think about it. What a wonderful story.
