Thanks for the prayers in my Father-in-law's behalf! And, for us , as well.

My wife's returning home tomorrow. The sister just younger than her, and her sister's daughter are both nurses, and they were together able to persuade Mignonne's Dad to see some doctors, and even drew his blood to take in themselves for a fasting lipid profile!

Yay!

It looks like he probably had a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack; sometimes called a "mini-stroke"). No nerve damage, no speech or major or minor motor impairment, etc. No jugular distension visible or palpable in the neck, and they're going to get the carotids scanned by ultrasound, tomoorow, etc.

I'd just give up, if I were him, and let the nurses do what they're trained to do!

How can you stop your own daughter AND grand-daughter from doing that?! Give it up; ole man!

He did. Good.
