Hey, folks. I've had to read a lot lately about the "birth of the blues" as someone is paying me to give a talk on it (since I'm an English native speaker).

I've never cared for this form of music and, thus, knew nothing about it, so had to intensively study. My husband said, "You may want to watch out. You might be calling up some bad spirits." I'd thought the same thing and so we prayed.

I was "okay" until I rented this series on Jazz that goes into the depths of the history of it.

I watched it last night before going to bed as it's quite long and I have to turn it in on Monday.

At about 5 in the morning, I woke up after having this really awful dream. So Val was right. It was obviously spiritual and coming from this icky input of drag-me-down-blues.

Please pray that the Lord will clean me from this and protect me from any further attacks.

I'm going to do my part by minimizing my study of it and intensifying my time in the word and with positive input.
