My project, which has been going very well for the last 8 months, has been our only means of support.
My boss has been trying to keep it under his control, which has been keeping me busy. However, the corporate office has been trying to get it away from him, which would put my work into the hands of the programmers at the corporate office and could put me out of work, eventually.
Please pray that my boss is able to keep it under his control and that I am able to keep this project until its end which I hope to be some years.
Those of you who know what corporate politics is like is really knife-in-the-back competition and it is really dog eat dog.
I am glad to be able to work as a contractor out of my own home and have my own freedom and not have the hassle of the office and 9 to 5 routine and all of that. But there are those who would like to take what is mine away from me if they possibly can.
I know that prayer is powerful and God has always changed things for me and worked out situations and has always taken great care of us. So please do pray for this.
"The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water he moveth it whithersoever he will."
This is a verse that has always powerfully changed situations for me.
"But my God will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
And we have lots of "needs" to pay for.
"If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done of my father which is in heaven."
Please claim these verses in your prayers for my work situation as I've seen mighty miracles happen mixing faith and the Word with prayer.
I have faith that God will take care of us no matter what as He always has. And this is the reason I ask for prayer -- because I know that when we pray things always really change for the better and I know they will this time too.
"All things work together for good to them that love the Lord, to them that are called according to His purpose."
