Check out the March 2002 issue of Reader's Digest. There's a story in there about this guy's last desparate chance, cause his diabetes was killing him. Some doctors in Edmonton found out how to do some eyelet transplants with a combination of anti rejection drugs and it worked for him. Apparently the new technology is catching on in hospitals around the world. The research continues cause there are risks in regards to the anti rejection stuff. But at least you'll be up to date and informed. I hope, though, that you can keep it in check naturally.
