In this area I would agree with Berg. In natural healing you also have to deal with the emotional and psychological.
What many people fail to realise is that depression and other psychological problems can also be directly related to your diet, if you are lacking the proper nutrients it causes your body to react which in turn causes your emotions to react. A key to staying healthy emotionally is just in having a good upkeep of diet and exercise.
In the group people's problems with bitterness, anger, hatred, were not always dealth with properly. The shepherds were not professionals, and some shepherds had a special touch for talking with and helping people over mental problems, but not all.
A kid in my area recently jumped off a bridge. He had been out of the group for a few years, since he was 14, on his own pretty much. His parents left after he did, but they had a large family to take care of so he didn't get the attention and help he needed. He approached them asking for medical help, asking to be taken to a professional, and they told him his problems were spiritual and he needed to fight the enemy. The result is that he ended his own life.
You can see the parents' decision not to take him to a professional was a direct influece of the group and Berg's teachings. It's a crime not to help people with their psychological problems, and if someone in your "Home" can't handle it, then they should be taken for professional treatment.
