Actually, everything they are saying is actually principles of faith in terms that are easily understood and practical ways to put it to work for you without sounding too "churchy".

Too many people are turned off by church Christianity. So talking about God and the principles of faith in a way that people can understand and don't get turned off to is a good thing.

After all, these principles will work for anyone no matter what label you put on it whether it be 'humanism' or 'christianity' or 'positive thinking' or 'cybernetics', etc. God loves everyone no matter what religion they are or what they believe or where they live... "For God so loved the world..."

In fact, when people use these principles and they work for them, their faith in something higher than themselves is inspired. No matter what you want to call him(/her): God, Allah, the Force (if you will), Divine Providence, etc., the fact that something spiritual or supernatural or miraculous or outside the bounds of science or whatever, is working in the lives of those who think positively with faith.

It's the law of God, the law of Nature, the law of the Universe, whatever you will call it that is the same for every single human being. God is no respector of persons. He is not willing that any is lost but that all come to the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

God takes us all at where we are at the moment and doesn't look at the color of our skin, the name of our religion, where we were born, etc.

I watched the whole "Secret" movie and nearly all the principles they put forth are things I have believed and practiced for years. It may be just a way that God is working through people to reach those who cannot be reached through the church system.

Just to site one example of how it (the so-called secret) is really powerful and really works, the following is how it worked for me. Someone very close to me had been diagnosed with full-blown AIDS. I rejected all negative thoughts about this and every day for several weeks I just kept repeating, "There is not one trace of AIDS in his body", over and over and over.

Someone called me to tell me and they were in tears. And I told them, "he doesn't have a trace of AIDS in his body". I told her she needed to tell that person to go back and get a second opinion.

Well, she called me back and told me excitedly that they couldn't find the disease in his body. I said, "See, I told you, I know he'd been healed".

This is a true story about how the principles of the "Secret" is really powerful and really works. And it works for anyone who uses them and it is nothing anti-God or of the Devil or anything like that. We learned those stupid ideas in the Family. The principles of the so-called "Secret" are really the principles of faith that have worked for millions.
