Foot/shoe update

In the on-going battle between my feet and the shoes I bought unwittingly for my latest job, the feet seem to be winning the battle, though I wouldn't wish this "battle" on anyone. This was the first time in my life that my feet were forced (by me!) to endure mistreatment for any length of time, due to unwillingness to abandon and ill-fitting pair of shoes.
The problems with the toes seem to have subsided, as the power of LIFE in my feet seems to have overcome the power of DEAD CATTLE in my shoes. I have, however, definitely come to the conclusion that ALL of the problems were SHOE related. I've put my feet through a painful and undeserved month or two in order to prove to myself that my feet could survive in the manliest of ways, toughing it out through all kinds of numbnesses and weirdnesses. I think, basically, the leather eventually stretched.

The shoes, however, are still crap, in my opinion, and still need replacing. The interior heel linings on both feet are deteriorating rapidly as the material wears away, leaving ugliness behind. They still look like dress shoes from the outside,,but "crap" shoes when removed, with the material rapidly disintegrating.

Just for the purpose of avoidance, in the case of anyone looking for a pair of shoes,,,don't get "Deer Stags".

I've been told, by the personnel at Mervyn's, where these were purchased, that I may find some satisfaction by writing to the Deer Stag company on the internet (since Mervyn's has a "store policy" not to do anything for the customer who has unwittingly bought a BOGUS PAIR OF SHOES!!!). Now I wonder just what the Deer Stag company may perhaps do for me? Give me another pair of CHEAP-ASS SHOES!!? Thanks alot.
