The other night I started to experience a pain that I'm all too familiar with.
The pain feels like it starts on my breast-bone, smack in the middle, and it goes straight through to my back bone.
The best way I've found to describe the pain is that it feels like I've had a spear thrown through my chest and out my back. It can be excruciatingly painful.
It doesn't feel like heart-burn. Nothing comes up into my throat. No acid burp. Also, my heart is fine.
It's only happened about 4 times in my life. Once when I was 16, then again when I was 22(the worst) and again when I was 47.
Then last July (I was 55) it happened and again last night, but it was bearable.
I think it has something to do with my esophagus. It definitely has to do with what I eat. Especially too oily foods in combination with a starch like spaghetti. Also when I drink orange juice, but not every time.
