It sounds good to me! Do you have anything to recommend?
Personally, a cup of wine or a cup of tea really helps my mood, along with a slice of cake or pie or some nice cookies. But then I get the whole guilt thing about fat and sugar and etc... Oh well! Once in a while a couple shots of brandy or tequila do the trick too, but I try to limit that to twice a year or so, I save it for esp. depressing times.
Where I live prozac isn't even a choice, not even available. ADD/ADHD isn't even recognized by the society or the doctors. Kids who are high-strung are just considered full of too much energy and in need of more play time outside.
I have bouts with depression, and after my last one I seriously wondered if I should seek medical help or not, cause it was pretty bad. But I know that some of my depression isn't a physical thing, there's a lot of emotional and other factors involved, that could easily be solved, but aren't. It's hard to get into here.
Anyway, yes, what sort of alternative products are good for depression? What works for you? Herbs, essential oils, a particular company's product, Bach Flower remedies, yoga, meditating, some sort of activity?
Of course, exercise increases the release of endomorphines (is that right?), so maybe more exercise, sunshine and fresh air is a start?
