Exercise is always good (she said while sitting on her duff) (cough)
Yes, this fast is definitely, most definitely a detox fast. And so that second day and maybe even third day can be a bit tough regarding headaches or leg pains. I had a bunch of garbage flowing through my veins on that 2nd day because my legs were hurting so bad that I couldn't sleep at all that night.
But it was my fault because I didn't really prepare in advance of the fast. I prepared a little by stopping coffee two days before as I knew the coffee headache would be bad enough. And I dumped my gin a week 1/2 before that. What I also should have done was begin eating more salads, drinking more juice and water, etc.
Go to Chetday.com for info on how to prepare yourself before a fast. He has a 3 day juice fast that I plan to try in May. That might be easier for you if you don't want to dive right away into the deep end of things.
When you decide what you're going to do, let us know so we can pray for you. God bless you, hon!
