Okay, some of us hate exercise. Am I right? But maybe you can see it in a new, less threatening light.
The thought of jogging used to really turn me off, however, after reading a really good health book, I found out something really cool about how to jog (and exercise) properly.
Jogging is not endlessly trotting down the road.
You jog till you feel out of breath (with me, that doesn't take long) and then you just walk quickly or walk at a pace that you feel challenged, but not over-exerted.
You jog like this:
One breath per 3 trots.
.....Inhale (one, two, three jogs), exhale (one, two, three jogs).
As soon as you start to feel breathless, slow it down. Breathlessness reveses the good of jogging; same thing with aerobic exercise.
And please, don't rip your muscles like I did! I was on crutches for a month! Always warm up first!
