If you want to go even further with a healthier diet, eat your meat before 3pm, preferably in the morning. Your body's digestion process cuts down after 3 and shuts down later on. People who eat meat in the evening are allowing that meat to sit in their body undigested, therefore either putrifying in their digestive tract, or getting passed through the system without getting the full benefits.
A step further is to cut meat out of your diet as much as possible. I only eat it about 3 times a week, in the afternoon for lunch, and our evening meal is yogurt, fruit, vegetables, soup, or tofu and nato, never a meat (unless we're at a BBQ). I still can't get meat down for breakfast too, it's a bit too much for me. I don't eat fish either, for one thing I don't like it, for another, many of the fish sold in grocery stores contain high level of mercury, VERY hazardous to your health, try fish oil capsules instead.
