In Response To: Back Problems ! (David C)

My dad has a ruptured disk, has had it for years, and has had continual problems with it. It was really bad at times, he would be flat in bed for days. One time he threw it out in the store while shopping with his grandson. He bent down to look at some toy and couldn't get back up. He had to crawl to a table and pull himself off the ground.

He allowed himself to get quite out of shape, plus his diet was not good. Not only was it the provisioned processed foods and lack of balance in fruits and vegetables, but he also didn't try harder to do better, put on a lot of weight, which is a strain on sciatia, or lower back pain.

After he became FM he joined a gym and did various work outs that his body could handle, and began walking an hour daily, with weights on his feet and arms, and increased it. Then he centered on his diet, and lost a good amount, but got stuck at 90 kilos, he just couldn't go any further down no matter what he tried. But his back was a lot better and giving him less problems.

He recently joined a health related company cause he knew he needed to try something else out. He began by doing a body cleansing, and quit coffee (he was addicted for over 30 years and had tried to quit several times with no success), and added some natural supplements to his diet which are designed to curb appetite, increase metabolism, increase energy. He also bought some essential oils from the same company, peppermint, oregano, special sports blend oils, and began to use them in massage on his back.

A few significant changes is that he lost another 5 kilos and is looking very good, his energy levels have gone way up, he hasn't had a migraine for months now, and though he still has back troubles, he recovers a lot quicker from them and the problems have not been so intense.

He has had a sweet tooth for all 53 years of his life, a pretty intense one, but since being faithful in his routine, his sweet tooth has been almost gone. He says he has lost his desire completely for processed or fast foods, and his body seems to crave more natural things, sushi, onigiri, vegetables.

That's his testimony and for me to see it happen before my eyes is quite amazing.

On a note about magnesium, it is known for it's pain blocking abilities. Calcium also requires magnesium to be absorbed by your body. Another supplement is MSM, but be sure that any supplement you ingest is 100% natural. You don't want to put a petroleum based synthesized vitamin into your body.
