they do have a point system, but it is all about healthy eating.
You are encouraged to eat three meals a day and two snacks. You're given healthy choices, and shown the differences in points between say a chocolate covered cookie (7 points) and a fruit choice. It's quite funny sometimes to find out something is worth less points then you thought. There's actually quite a lot of foods that have 0 points that can be enjoyed.
But no you are not encouraged to to pastries and starve the rest of the day.
I'm sure there are members who can be quite fanatic about WW. But I haven't met any yet. The women seem down to earth and genuiely concerned about losing weight. Everyone offers ideas and it's interesting to watch the weight come down.
I'm sure it's not for everyone, I'm just happy to have found a healthy alternative to gaining weight.
