To Jen, Robert, Ange, John, Angel, Holon, Barney, Lisa, Christina, Coca, Ian and all:
I’ve been reading through the posts this morning (about 4 a.m.) and I’m saddened by all the fighting and irritation among posters. Our nation has just gone through a holocaust that will change life as we know it forever, and we need to join hands in prayer and love and unity to help each other get through.
We need to pray for Robert as he sorts through the fear, pain and anger that the recent events have caused him and countless others.
Forget pointing the finger and “I told you so” posters. You know what I have to say about that?
John 16: 2+3:
“The time is coming when whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. “And these things they will do to you because they have not kown the Father nor Me.”
It may have nothing to do with the End at all. And it certainly doesn’t have to do with the Whore. There were many God fearing Christians killed September 9th along with any “heathen”. And it could just be about Evil getting an upper hand in people who don’t know the Lord. They’re brainwashed as much as any religious cult is, or worse!
Somebody once said, "It is easier to die for a religion than to live for it fully." This is true, and it's even worse when you take innocent people with you.
Lets stop our bickering and take our energy and use it for prayer. I spent some serious time on my knees and admitted that my heart had not been in the right place lately. And I made a commitment to rededicate myself to the Lord and his service.
And he reminded me that this is his commandment:
John 15:12
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
That takes real effort, you guys. No petty crap involved. We aren’t just supposed to love like faulty humans, but like God has loved and forgiven us!
So let’s lay aside every weight, and the sin that so easily troubles us, and run this race TOGETHER, with PATIENCE that God has put before us!
How can you help someone today? Can you listen to them? Can you forgive someone? Can you pray for someone? Can you meditate and get in a better mood before you interact with others? Can you be there for someone, and go out of your way? This is what God wants me to do. I pray that you take some quiet time with your Higher Power and find out what special plan he has for you today. Because you ARE special. You can heal someone. Don’t let the devil or anyone else convince you otherwise!
It is written, “My peace I give to you; Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
