Jennifer, the Psalms are beautiful reading, especially at times like this. Here are only a few. Ps 46: 1,2 “ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, thought the earth be removed, and thought the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” Ps 4:8 “ I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell I safety.” Only the Lord can keep us safe.
