Yes indeed I believe that faithful christians will reign over the earth during the millenium.

But not through military conquest.

Jesus said:
Re 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And in the Psalms he said through David:

Ps 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. ...11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.... 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

It is the wicked who take up arms to slay the righteous, not the other way around.

Our patience and faith are shown by our very refusal to fight evil in the flesh.

Those who take up the sword, thinking to establish their own idea of righteousness, are already in the enemy camp. Even if they don't know it.

Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. ... 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.... 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

We are supposed to rejoice in persecution, and render good for evil, not kill in righteous indignation.

So to sum up, who will reign with Christ?

The meek, the poor in spirit, the peacemakers, those who refuse to kill with the sword, those who love their enemies, those who render good for evil, those delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
