The ONLY scriptures that Timothy would have known as a child are the OT. To toss out the veracity of the OT is to literally open a can of worms and end up with flushing the NT down the drain also. Moses wrote of Jesus. NT Christian 'facts' are not empirical they are based on revelation and only perceived by faith. The WHOLE book is a revelation.
