Are you or me above PETER,JUDAS AND ALL the others that deserted HIM during that time?
At least Judas right away saw that he was wrong and went to kill himself...
It seems to me that had WE been there you and I and a few others that think they would never deny their lord would have been included in those CROWDS...

Agreed ,it has to be a personal connection or rebirth ,need born again experience ...
But miracles do have their effect on souls and are also part of God's magic to convert sinners...
If not God wouldn't be using it.
All is God's, OT ,NT, MIRACLES,WORD ONLY etc..
Bad experiences and Good ones bring us to a higher understanding of God's way ,all part of the process all are needed temporarily but are not needed always..just for an age
You can't dispose of your past and your mistakes they are a necessary part of yourself...
The OT by the same manner also...
