As I said in the post you were answering, No matter what the disciples meant by their question, when Jesus answered, He was talking about a literal "return" to earth at the end of time. Not some sort of inner spiritual awakening on the part of the disciples.

And I hope you will agree with me that such a return has not yet happened.
