First, Scripture forbids calling anyone "Father" in the sense of replacing God the Father, or of replacing His word with the idolotrous crap of a nasty little nobody like Berg.

Second, Berg was already experienced in homosexual sin with a cousin, fornication with a maid, numerous adulteries with women in congregations he so-called "pastored" with C & M. A. , and was an incestor of his own daughters BEFORE he joined his lying, thieving pseudo-evangelist Mommy in Huntington Beach, CA, in 1968, and did such a sorry job trying to copy the REAL Jesus Movement that already began 3 years earlier in San Francisco.

A Christian leader? He couldn't even lead his own PENIS in the right direction, much less actually be trusted by the REAL God with actually discipling new Christian believers. He was an utter failure BEFORE he came to California!

Anything true he brought to California, he STOLE from the Christian and Missionary Alliance, whom he also ripped off and misrepresented for his own selfish and delusionally self-important reasons.

A "true leader"? How corrupt and foolish, even stupid, must a person be, to even be able to ASK that question in a serious manner?

But, of course, you yourself are a joke, are you not--do you present yourself as such, as a foil for the crap you claim to represent, in a semi-mocking and/or self-deprecating manner, to merely divert attention away from your real motives?

Was he human? Barely. All his so-called "wisdom" was earthly, sensual and devilish. In other words, complete crap; according to Scripture (see James Ch 3).

I LEFT TF the very DAY I understood Berg's actual nature: that of a false prophet, false teacher/apostle, a false brother/evangelist--in every respect of those categories, he was a con man.

Con men are adept at getting you to give them your confidence, in order to take something from you. I LEFT BECAUSE I WANTED TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST, NOT BERG.

I DECIDED to not let his sorry little wrinkly ass steal another year of my life--not even another DAY!!!

From Berg, I learned to take very seriously what Scripture actually says about people like himself; that is, wolves in sheep's clothing.

Charisma? I have much more of his kind of charisma in one of the assorted pimples on my big white butt; thank you very much!

Politically, he was unaligned to any worthy cause, ideology or party, he only pretended to be.

What was I supposed to have learned there?

Socially, I learned that, back in OT time, Jews came from all over the known world for celebrations such as the Feast of Tabernacles, stayed fifty days till Penetecost, and went back home soon thereafter.

Under Caesar Augustus' census/taxing, Mary and Jospeph found "no room at the inn". In the Book of Acts, there were suddenly over 8,000 brand-new baby Christians on the Apostles hands, so no where to live in a normal manner for a short period of time there--IT DOES NOT PROVE GOD WANTS ALL CHRISTIANS TO LIVE IN A COMMUNE.

They lived communally for a VERY SHORT TIME, were disicpled, and then went BACK HOME! Duh!

The OT also warned about situations where someone should NOT stay too long at his neighbors' houses, or "look upon the nakedness" of people like "near kinsmen", etc., etc.

In Thessalonians, Paul told carnal Christians, that, if they HAD to get drunk, to NOT sin at the Lord's Supper when the church met together, but to do it at home in "their own houses", if they insisted on continuing in this evil behavior, with the warning that living like that would cause you to judge yourself unworthy of the Lord's blood and body, and that many had gotten sick and DIED because they chose this so-called "freedom".

God stopped providing for Berg and his little cult beorre the '70s began.

Berg got mad. He instituted lying in order to "provision" (I was head provisioner in Mexico City, and used all those lines! All lies!), and when that ran out, as one of the worst "gospel bums" in the history of the world, he reinstituted what had worked so well for the cult of Diana of the Ephesians: religious prostitution--nothing new under the sun, there!

So, what great "social understanding" was he supposed to have taught us, there; except how to justify becoming total parasites, and a completely failed social experiment?

And, spiritually? Don't make me laugh! That's where he did the very most damage.

Fortunately, someone DID give more than a "damn"--Jesus brought us salvation.

All Berg did was that he led souls to a false Christ--read 2 Peter chapter 2 and 2 Cor 11. It bores me to even have to answer posts like yours, but I will, since others read them.
