Here you call Joel a jerk. Isn't that "name calling" and not appropriate for this board? I don't believe that Berg was ever more than a pervert who destroyed something that could have been beautiful with his lust for power. But I don't get the personal attacks here.

THIS IS BEYOND DISGUSTING. First you call him a name and then you insinuate a child's death has something to do with him. I FEEL REALLY ANGRY when you talk like this. It's cruel and it's not Christian OR humane. You have mentioned on another board and now brought this up in a more subtle way and I tell you that the death of a loved one especially a person's own child, and using that to criticise someone is perhaps just about the cruelest thing that one person can do to another.

Joel probably got out before you ever did and what he continues to hang on to is his own business. What he writes is not believed by anyone I know here but why shouldn't he be free to post his opinions as an ex member within the boundaries of this boards rules without being trashed like this?

I think you should look in the mirror and read this to YOURSELF since you wrote it.

If you were trying to reach someone out of Christian concern, it wouldn't be by calling him a jerk, a has-been, a bad father with a reference to loss of a child. How tragic. If you cared you wouldn't have to ATTACK and try to make yourself "right" and someone else "wrong" and bad and so on.
