As far as stopping it from happening, there is nothing at all anybody on earth can do.

Not only has it already passed beyond all hope of being stopped by anyone but Christ Himself, but also Jesus Himself said it has to happen.

It's an important part of God's plan.
It's even God's will that the ACs take over the world temporarily.

Re 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

And I'm sure that Paul was indirectly quoting Jesus in 2 Ths 2 when he told of the entire world falling under the delusion of the Antichrist.

2Th 2:3 ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (the coming of Christ) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

So, although we know there is nothing that we can, or even should do to try and stop the rise of the AC kingdom, that doesn't mean we should close our eyes and avoid the subject and pretend it's not happening.

Jesus didn't.

He exposed the evil Pharisee ACs at every opportunity, publicly calling them children of Satan on several occasions.

He did not oppose their political control of the nation/religion.

But he certainly exposed evil spiritual wickedness behind their "control" of the nation/religion.

And they killed Him for it.

Jesus expects us to fight, even to the death.
