Yes ,dreams can come through ungodly kings, but in was interpreted by God's true prophet, and later Nebuchadnezzar became a Godly king.
God did speak through an ass, but it was not a prophecy to lead a mass movement, but to admonish an errant soothsayer-prophet.

God does not nor ever will lead his obedient children through ungodly disobedient prophets, unless the children choose to be ungodly and disobedient, then they get the kind of prophet they deserve, a false one.

Any prophecy or dream that was and remains a true prophecy from God came from prophets who also followed by their own example, staying close to the Lord.

The Spirit of the Lord departed from King Saul and God would not talk to him neither would the prophet so he sought the counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, which was one of the causes of his death.

1 Chronicles 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;

Even King David, who sinned a great sin, but repented.

Berg never repented. Even in his so-called messages from wherever he is now, never once did he repent.
