No but we have a few advantages that they didn't have when it comes to "believing".

One we have their testimonies. And the testimonies of millions of other Christians since then.

Also, and more importantly, we have the Holy Spirit in our hearts that they did not have at that time. Later when they did have it, they were very different.

If we had been there, you are certainly right. But if it happened now I don't think so. I'm sure we'll get the chance in the near future to lay our lives on the line for Christ. And that is when our faith will really be tested.

Yes, but I don't think Jesus ever purposely did a miracle just to "convince" people, except perhaps the walk on the water which only the 12 saw. I guess they needed an extra shot of faith support.
As far as miracles go, I think everything that happens is in a sense a miracle, straight from the hands of God. I don't believe the natural world would run for a single second without direct divine intervention.
