I love the old standards! Are you familiar with this website?
On really rough days, I'll go there and always find something that picks me up.
BTW, I was thinking about you (EBW) this morning and wondering if you'd be interested in discussing your interpretation of the Beatitudes? There are areas where you & I differ in our point of view (viva la differance!), but I've got a feeling that we both read the Beatitudes in a similar way. When When it comes to foundational texts that inform what I think it means to follow Christ, the Beatitudes are at the top of the list.
