What exactly is your point?
Did I criticize the churches, yes, and I find them worse than ever now.
Did I criticize them for singing hymns?
No
Did Berg even criticize them for singing hymns?
NO
He even butchered a few of those hymns himself for our listening pleasure.
So I am not a part, and have never been a part of your "WE" that criticized the churches for singing hymns.
On the contrary, that was about the only thing I ever liked about church, except in a few isolated cases where the preachers were really sincere humble men of God instead of the religious hustlers that are considered to be the leaders of Christianity today.
I still know a couple of good preachers like that but their own churches have turned against them.
The churches are no longer the Church.
People eventually have to decide which they belong to.
