Just when you think I've seen and heard it all, the Mosquito Queen comes out with hung-like-a-horse Porno Christ.

Like Mir, I couldn't read too much of this garbage--the images and language are too disturbing--but not only because it involves Jesus. I enjoy my sex life, and I can't imagine myself in bed relating to my lover the way Zerby describes. I realize sexual expression is very personal and idiosyncratic, but do ordinary people act like this in bed? Seems like the kind of stuff I expect to hear from a professional sex worker.

Things can ALWAYS get sicker in TFI. I've been thinking a lot about what it must be like to be 7 or 8 or 9 years old and be indoctrinated to believe in spirit helpers and hinderers that mirror cartoon sequels like X-Men or U-Gi-Go or Pokemon or what-have-you. I wonder what will happen to the cognitive development of these kids after having their concrete operational phase so deeply short-circuited by a culture of magical thinking.

As far as CPS involvement is concerned, a lot depends on the larger community. Child welfare is only as good as the community that funds and the local family courts that support it, and TFI is famous for locating its homes in areas where the notion of children's rights is non-existent.
