I HAVE run into this one, it is called "bibliolatry", but it is subtle and not overt. Think about it...we hold the bible as a book in high esteem when it is the WORDS and SPIRIT that are important. Mature thinking Christians know this already so it is not a problem for them, but the less mature fall for it without thinking.

Gotta go to work. May post more on this later.
