Things that have never gotten

satisfactory explanations:

I agree with you lydia, but doesn't the bible say that God would pour out of His spirit on all flesh, in the last days, and his sons and daughters would prophesy and the young men would see visions and the old men would dream dreams?

If everyone that has a vision or dreams a dream is a false prophet, where is there space to make that promise come to pass?

And how do you know who is having the true ones? And if we can only count on the Bible, then what about the things that are not in the bible? And what about the promise "he shall show you things to come" and "I will show you things that you know not"? If they are in the Bible, we know them, if we have read it -- so what about the things we "know not", that aren't in the Bible?

A mystery is one thing, but the whole idea of prophecy, dreams and visions is to reveal things that "we know not". Correct, there are many false prophets that will arise and deceive many. But if there are false ones, then doesn't it stand to reason that there are true ones too?
