Of course, if it were possible to come to some understanding by negotiation and talks with extremists it would be preferable. But we all know that the essential doctrines of extremists can never find compromise. Thus people become frustrated with the intimidation and fear that immobilizes society. Seems to me that if the Muslims are going to hold others to their standards then let them clean their own house first. Another example below:
