Galatians 1:13 to 2:2 describe what happened to Paul from the time of his conversion until he began his missionary journies. It wasn't until this time, at least 14 years after his conversion, that he began writing what we know as the epistles, so he was NOT a new convert, as your post stated, when he "spouted off alot of his emotional opinions". So your advice that "Christians should consider that he was, as a new convert, feeling so happy about his new life, thinking how all the world leadership probably were suddenly waking up to treat everyone right.
People should consider that he was thinking that because of the position he had to masscre all Christians, that his conversion changed everything, and that all Rome would now be making policies as Jesus Christ would have. is not borne out by the facts.
Perhaps you overlooked that portion of Galatians. It is more likely that the points he was trying to make are not fully understood or are being deliberately manipulated to prove some other point.
