You're probably asking the wrong person, because I believe THE antichrist has already come and gone. But there's no denying that radical Islam is driven by a strong anti-Christian sentiment -- "the spirit of antichrist" (1 Jn. 4:3).

It's amazing to me now that Berg thought we could (and SHOULD!) work with the Antichrist (or anti-antichrist -- he wasn't sure yet) during his rise to power, in order to be protected during the Great Tribulation!

Henry H. Halley (Halley's Bible Handbook) also thought that Islam would play a major part in the persecution of Christians in the last days.
