"Mighty" Surprise For Woman Eating Campbell's Soup

Nashville, TN (AHN) – A woman claims her 89-year-old mother shoveled a dead mouse into her mouth from a bowl of Campbell’s bean with bacon soup.

A Campbell spokesman says the company would like to examine the can and its contents, which the family says it stored in a freezer, along with the mouse.

John Faulkner says it’s highly unlikely the mouse got in the can during manufacturing, as production is closely monitored at the Maxton, N.C. plant where the soup was made.

The incident has been reported to the federal Agriculture Department for investigation.
