I just thought it was weird to have a quake in the gulf of Mexico and then I researched it. It is indeed rare but far from impossible in plain ole geological terms. I was amazed it turned into a government plot!
It seems like it takes a whole lot more BLIND faith to believe that nature and seismic activity was manipulated by people for some devious James Bond fantasy story like plot.
I was reading about how a geologist was linking "passive" events in the Gulf of Mexico or what he believed stemmed from there causing effects in another area. I am still reading about it because the subject fascinates me from a scientific point of view.
