DB was a true narcissistic study in psychopathy. I think it is a Family fallacy and abusive to send the message that we would be nothing and no one would care for us had it not been for Berg! Please. The good done in the Family was IN SPITE of Berg not because of him.
Pimps stroll the streets looking for vulnerable youth and give them clothes and show them love making them feel special because of the lack of love or safety from their own family of origins. Then the tables are turned and they are worth only what they produce to the pimp.
THAT is what David Berg was like. But he did it all in the name of Jesus and God.
Imagine what the Family could have been had David Berg NOT been a predator but cared enough about people to not do things like molest his own children and grandchildren and other youth or destroy certain people to continue control by fear.
The thing I am grateful for is getting out of the Family. Not into it. I had to get out and become responsible for my own life. People in the "system" helped me to do that for myself. No thanks to DB
