Last year, when I was trying to motivate support for Rick's Memorial in posts here, after a big argument cropped up about blood-money, a few people communicated with me a little behind the scenes, including their father, John LaMattery Sr.

We know each other from the early days, and I feel that he is a very decent guy. If Jim has cooked his own goose, it's important to not abandon the family victims.

One thing I was thankful for, was to see the video coverage of Rick's Memorial. However, it took awhile for me to learn how Jim exploited Rick's wife over the book.

I guess Jim LaMattery was a typical Chain-Leader between 1975-78.
