Reading a lot of the posts over the past few weeks, it strikes me that a majority of the posters are so nationalistic, and defensive in a black or white mindset, that they don't seem to be able to look at these recent events as a process of building up to a one-world gov't and as a step closer to the endtime events predicted in the Bible. There seems to be more of a tendency to defend America's righteousness in exacting revenge on the terrorists. I have seen nothing in the newspapers yet that conclusively nails bin Laden as the mastermind behind it. He keeps denying that he did it, although he praises those who did. Wouldn't that be a shocker if we found out that it wasn't him, but perhaps a coalition of Arab extremists and good ole Christian militia homeboys. Where was Timothy McVie from? Didn't see the military bombing his home after Oklahoma. And how many tens of thousands of Christian militia are in the USA, waiting for the opportunity to overthrow the gov't? Is the gov't going to go after them as well? Probably not, because that would bring the war even closer to home, and possibly result in a mini civil war. Nevertheless, they are as capable as any Arab terrorist in pulling off such inhumane acts...again just look at Tim McVie, who showed no remorse for the Oklahoma bombing. Maybe the gov't is leaving the "home" terrorists for their next excuse and assault on civil rights and liberties. That would indeed seal it for normal Joe Blow American. Seeing the danger right in our midst would probably have Joe Blow begging for the gov't to take away freedoms and monitor its citizens more closely. That would sure bring some of those oldie goldie Mo letters to light, now wouldn't it.
