Yes that is the Jereboam I knew and I did get in contact with his sister shortly after coming to the boards. At that time, she had pretty much gone on with her life, but seemed glad to talk to someone who knew him. When I did know him was in the early thru mid seventies and I went out litnessing with him and on road trips and we had conversations. He really was a very sensitive and kind person.
One abuse so many members of the Family experienced, especially many males, was to be endlessly sent on the road to raise funds and support some different homes such as regional schools or whatever. Every once in awhile they got to come in and get a respite from continual fundraising with no certain "home" to come back to on their regular schedule.
Jereboam was not a high profile member. He was a gentle and very kind person. (I know I have already said this, but I can't say it enough.)
