The weather here in France was perfect for wine grapes this year. The harvest was tremendous and the wine is fantastic.
My neighbor served me new wine made from the first harvest (in August) of his small vinyard . Because of the perfect weather it had a very high sugar content, so it is higher in alcohol (13%)than most wine.
Everyone says this will be a year to remember.
