A Question For Mothers

Our youngest son is 13, almost 14. He was born and raised in TF. I have been out of TF for Almost 4 years, but my wife just joined me 2 years ago with two kids.

The older boy, 16, has a hunger for the Word and reads the Bible and attends our weekly Bible study for friends too, but the younger one doesn't have any interest in the word, but still his mother reads to him, and he takes it in.

I also have Bible study time with him too, but he seems not to want to tune in. In TF he was into reading the spirit stories, in book form now, and other things that came out in the mags for kids.

He had a hard time in TF, around other kids his age, and at fellowships. He didn't like the OC and Jett Camps as he was treated harshly.

My question is , do any of the mothers have any suggestions on what type of Bible stories to share with 13 year old boys or what will get him interested in the Word more?

He likes Bible movies and documentaries. We have showed him documentaries on Noah's Ark, and other Biblical archaeological movies, but that is not enough for him to grow spiritually.

What have other mothers done with their kids as far as reading the Bible to them and sharing the word. He won't get into the word himself unless he is told to and we don't want to make it a rule like in TF, we want him to do it on his own because he wants to.

Thanks so much
