With my first boys, it was such a shock, to see how they changed, I was so angry. But I felt justified, they weren't showing respect which I felt I deserved. All I did was end up driving them out of the house time they turned 18.

Of course things, thankfully have turned out okay for them. But I just wish I had learned about my temper before. My other teen boys, have benifited from my experience, and although have gone through some very dark times, using those techniques and prayer, it really made a huge difference in the home life.

I rarely ground, usually we talk things through, that makes grounding more effective. Don't threaten, or react angry, it's important, because it's showing them, they are controlling you. (even if it's provoking you to temper)

Just walk away if you feel you are losing it.
