to me it sounds like modern women in general, drugs, sexual "freedom" (sex in the city model) that's why I feel his words still apply, because society really hasn't changed that much!

I'm not sure either what that means. Is it in reference to the whole rib thing?

I know there has been tons of abuse in the whole patriarchal thing, but still, I like the idea of man being the head of the house, I don't have a problem with that. Although when I say this, my husband always laugh, I guess I'm only submissive in my own mind!
